Family Nature Survey Workshop
This half-term, the Floating Classroom is running a free 2-hour wildlife survey workshop for families at Stone Wharf in North Paddington.
When: Thursday 19th February 11am-1pm
Suitable for: children aged 6+.
In this workshop, we’ll discover the important role that soil plays in our ecosystems by exploring and surveying the biodiversity of a local green space. We’ll learn how invertebrates improve our soils and conduct an earthworm count. At the end of the workshop, there will be an opportunity to plant some seeds.
Please note that we will be working outdoors in all weather so please do bring appropriate clothing for the forecast.
The workshop is free, but places are limited. If you’d like to take part, please complete the sign-up form below.
