Winter Holiday Puppet Club: December 2025 & January 2026

This club is currently fully booked - If you’d like to be added to the waiting list, you can still submit a sign-up form.

Ahoy there! The Puppet Theatre Barge and the Floating Classroom have teamed up to offer a fun, creative project for children aged 6 - 11 years this Winter holiday.

Over four days, we will make our own puppets, enjoy a boat trip on the canal, and see a live professional puppet show on The Puppet Barge.

At the end of the project, everyone will have the chance to rehearse their own puppet shows and perform them on stage at the Puppet Theatre Barge.

Parents, carers, family and friends are invited to join us for the children’s performance on Friday 2nd January 2026 at 3pm.

The Winter Holiday Puppet Club will take place on the Floating Classroom in Paddington on:

  • Monday 29th December - 11am - 3pm

  • Tuesday 30th December - 11am - 3pm

  • Wednesday 31st December - 11am - 3pm

  • Friday 2nd January - 11am - 4pm

Drop-off at the Floating Classroom from 10.30am each morning.

This activity is for children who are eligible and registered for free school meals.

Healthy, cost-free snacks and lunch will be provided.

If you are unsure whether your child is eligible and registered for free school meals, you can find out more here:

Please note: Children’s Free School Meals eligibility will be checked by the council before the club begins, so please make sure your child is registered. If inaccurate information has been given at sign-up we may not be able to provide a place at the club for your child.

If you have any questions, please contact Cameron: cameron@thefloatingclassroom.co.uk or call the Floating Classroom office on 0203 951 7376. (Please note: my normal working hours are Monday - Friday 10am - 6pm.)

Because this project involves group work over multiple days, children need to be able to attend all 4 days of the club.

You can sign up using the form below.

A reminder: please make sure that the information you provide is accurate, as free school meals eligibility will be checked by the council before the project begins.
